You are cordially invited to participate in Marvelous Monthly. A fresh approach to the traditional “discount events” currently on offer in SL. We are where Fashion is a Passion. Our focus is on quality, not quantity and as such we will hand pick our monthly vendors with care.
We are looking for quality designers to fill our 20 spots. Our aim is to promote quality Merchants both big and small, that’s why we limit the number of brands per round. We know that there are many stores out there that create amazing designs and we would like to include those that stand out from the crowd. All applications will be reviewed by our staff and we will let you know ASAP if you have been accepted.
The following is a brief overview of the guidelines that we request our Designers to follow:
1. All items must be created by you with proper licensing. ABSOLUTELY NO BIAB (Business in a box ) or Affiliate Items.
2. EXCLUSIVES: One (1) Exclusive is required and can not be sold at any other event or in your store until the round ends. Re-textured items are allowed, but must be a unique texture created for this event. Your items must be mesh or mesh compatible with the most popular Mesh Bodies and enhancements (I.e. Omega, Slink, Belleza, etc).
3. Non-Exclusive NEW items, 30 days or less since release. The focus of this event is to promote New Releases and Exclusive items. Your items must be mesh or compatible with the most popular Mesh Bodies and enhancements.
4. MARKETPLACE STORES: We DO NOT allow Marketplace only stores, you must have an inworld location.
5. MINIMUM PRICE OF 150L
5. Discounted items are allowed, however, the lowest discount is 50% of retail or our minimum pricing model. Our focus is on quality new and exclusive items. We are not promoting this event as a discount event, but we do understand that offering lower priced or sale items does bring in new customers and makes items appealing to all budgets. We believe you work very hard on your products and deserve to get the full value of your quality items, so please use sale discounted items in moderation.
6. Our event runs on a 3 week cycle: Event opens at 2pm SLT on the 1st of every month. Event closes on the 25th at 12pm SLT. Vendor set up begins between the evening of the last day and the morning of the 1st. A notice will be sent out advising when set up can begin. You get a minimum of 5 days to setup your items so they are ready by the 9am deadline on the 1st. Management will do a walk-thru to ensure that we are ready to open to the public on time.
7. It is also not required, but highly recommended, that you provide blogger copies to our exclusive blogger and model team via the in world “Marvelous Mondays” group. This is a closed group for Designers and Bloggers/Models only.
8. Finally, please link to us on your website (we will do the same for you!) and put the Marvelous Monthly group kiosk in your store, kiosks are mandatory.
Cost of monthly rounds are as follows:
- DESIGNER (Store): Includes a fixed modern store shell with 25 Prims and ability to participate in promotional events. We also provide Bloggers and in Event Models to promote your items. You will create 1 exclusive monthly and set your vendors to a 30% Split with MarvelousEvents. You may also place 1 Gatcha Machine with a 30% split.
